Get ready for an action-packed six-week event as Riot Games brings you the Soul Fighter event, taking over the world of Runeterra in League of Legends, Wild Rift, Teamfight Tactics (TFT), and Legends of Runeterra. The event is a tribute to the fighting game genre, drawing inspiration from the emotional resonance and character moments of fighting games and anime tournament arcs. The Soul Fighter event begins globally on Thursday, July 20, and runs through Monday, August 28. In this guide, we’ll delve into the exciting features of TFT Patch 13.14, focusing on the two exhilarating game modes: Soul Brawl and The Choncc Dome.
Soul Brawl: The Ultimate Battle of Champions
Get ready to prove your worth in the Soul Brawl mode, available from July 19th to August 15th. Soul Brawl features two phases: the Training Phase (1-1 to 3-8) and the best-of-three Tournament Phase past 3-8.
In the Training Phase, you’ll accumulate Soul Power with each round you win (30), lose (15), and enemy champions you eliminate (1). Soul Power replaces Health and can only increase throughout this phase. Collecting Soul Power enhances your loot options when Gwen and Sett visit to assist with loot or appear as PvE bosses.
During training, you’ll be granted the Imperfect Soul Crown, which boosts the crowned unit’s AD, AP, and HP. Additionally, the last listed non-unique trait of the crowned unit counts as two.
As the Tournament Phase kicks in, your Imperfect Soul Crown will transform into its perfect form, providing additional stats based on your Soul Power and granting an additional revival effect. In this phase, losing twice will result in elimination from the match, so fight strategically and prove your mettle to be the last one standing!
Unveiling The Choncc Dome
The Choncc Dome is the first TFT event to feature an Event Pass, available during the Soul Fighter event from 3 PM PT. The Event Pass functions similarly to standard set/mid-set passes, with unlocked thematic content as you earn XP and play games.
For 575 RP, you can purchase the Soul Fighter Event Pass, granting access to exciting rewards like Emotes, Star Shards, Booms, and the legendary Little Legend, Khaat’Sai. Additionally, the free Pass provides 100 Treasure Tokens.
The Event Pass offers three new Booms – Soul Power, Soul Static, and God’s Eye – fully upgraded upon unlocking. Importantly, the Soul Fighter Event Pass XP is separate from the Runeterra Reforged Pass XP, ensuring your progress is dedicated to the Soul Fighter missions.
In this mode, you’ll encounter Soul Fighter Champions and their personal trainers, represented by Little Legends. Each pair embarks on their journey in the Choncc Dome, and you’ll complete missions to earn XP towards your Soul Fighter Pass. The Hub’s page will provide access to the Soul Fighter Pass.
Chibi Gwen and Chibi Soul Fighter Gwen: Tiny Champions, Big Impact
Gwen, the adorable trainer of the Soul Brawl, makes her debut as a Chibi Champion! You can purchase Chibi Gwen for 1900 RP, complete with her signature boom, Snip Snip! Chibi Gwen will remain available even after the event ends on August 15th.
As an exclusive Star Content drop from Treasure Realms during Patch 13.14 to the event’s conclusion, Chibi Soul Fighter Gwen joins the fray. This charming champion comes with a unique finisher animation, swiftly cutting foes to the gray screen.
Tournament of Souls Arena: Rise to Glory
